What is you skater name and why?
“Boss Mare” is my derby name. I have always been crazy about horses and have been fortunate to always have them in my life. Watch them in a herd environment and you’ll see why I chose the name – it just fits! And, I like to shake my head at my opponents and flare my nostrils before a hit.
What home team do you skate on?
I skate for “The Throwbacks.” But sometimes I wear black to practice just to mess with the “Bruisy Qs.”
How long have you skated with P.V.B.R.D.A?
I started practicing full time with PVBRDA in December of 2011 and became a member in February of 2012.
What position do you play?
I usually play Blocker 1 or 2. Some times I jam and that is hilarious!
What do you love most about Derby?
I love the fact that every skater there is there because she absolutely LOVES it.
Who inspires you and why?
My kids inspire me every day with their energy.
Do you have a favorite Derby Girl?
Every Derby Girl out there is on the top of my list!
What is your motto?
Practice makes perfect.
